Texas A&M in College Station is an exceptional school. My degree was in Rangeland Ecology and Management and I graduated in 1998. Before graduation, I participated in summer work for the Natural Resource Conservation Agency (formerly known as the Soil Conservation Service) and found my education to be superior to my colleagues there who had graduated from other range science departments from other schools. I totally credit that to the fact that Texas A&M attracts the brightest, most diligent, and caring professors. TAMU is always on the cutting edge of any new revelation in range and pasture science and they have the personnel and facilities to demonstrate and practice it with their students. I am now a wife and mother, but who knows what the future holds for a later career. |
