The reputation given this university relies solely on its rich tradition. The current method in which this historic institution is managed leaves much to be desired, and that is truly sad. Many of the governing officials of Tuskegee, including the President and others, are corrupt, and the infrastructure of many buildings is literally eroding beneath the students as they attend class. If you want to attend a school where the stairways in a building are about ready to deteriorate from under your feet because the bureacracy in power chose to keep money for themselves or turn down donations from alumni or celebrities which could actually help the students, then Tuskegee is for you. I do NOT recommend Tuskegee University to anyone. If you are interested in pursuing veterinary school, then I recommend attending Auburn University, which is located within close proximity of Tuskegee. |
