The Classics (Humanities) program is the best kept secret at McGregor University. It should get WAYYYYY more publicity and promotion than it does. The school president seems unable to recognize this program as meaningful and worthy; it does not seems to be a part of her "agenda." She needs to realize that business and management are not the only things that make the world go 'round. She also needs to consider what will be lost when she finally gets her way and cuts McGregor off from mother Antioch. I am a better person for having attended this program, and what I learned will be held for life. I could have chosen business or management and been successful as a businesswoman or manager, but I chose Humanities and have become a better person and a better global citizen as a result, which when it all boils down, is all that really matters anyway. Can't say enough good things about the Humanities program. Wish the rest of the school were as warm and fuzzy. |
