USA (or South, as the locals call it) is truly a beautiful place to be. Everyone in the city of Mobile is friendly and willing to help. Not much action as far as typical college party life, but there is always some campus event to go to. Every faculty member I've met is always available and more than happy to meet with you. OUT-OF-STATE STUDENTS BEWARE: you will pay twice as much as everyone else. Try to establish Alabama Residency as soon as possible. (you can't do that if you live in a dorm!)
