However, the FACULTY involved with the university are very approachable and helpful. My teachers are always very flexible and considerate of random happenings that can occur (e.g. Hurricane Ivan: NOT ONE of my teachers did the whole "tough luck" routine.) Any problems that arise can be resolved quite easily. As for the meteorology program…awesome! The one aspect of the program I enjoy most is the shift of focus from book learning to hands-on experience. Dr. Williams and Dr. Blackwell are incredibly experienced as well as the rest of the faculty in the program. Definitely a "door opener" when it comes to job opportunities. I just wish it had a graduate program. As for the spirit…yeah…that's the only negative. Honestly, it can be summed up in one statement: we need a football team!I would definitely recommend this to any student, especially Meteorology, Med, or Business (those are the programs I'm most familiar with). |
