I thought the school was average. I fell for the propaganda but after a semester of constantly hearing rich, white, unemployed jerks belittle other cultures, and even just different opinions for that matter, I had to get the hell out. I know that not everyone that attends TAMU is what I just described, but the school is so overrated that its unnerving to listen to A&M alumni take credit for the "technological superiority" which people in my generation like to call modernization. There's not a division 1 school in this state that doesn't have the same hands-on technology as A&M. It's not a horrible school, but unless you are strictly agriculture oriented or you just enjoy acting like a Nazi, there are a thousand other schools that can fit your academic needs for much cheaper tuition. I currently attend another school in Texas, but I'm not here to advertise, I'm here to calm the hype about TAMU's "Grand ole tradition" which is just 50,000 people unwilling to undergo change. I thought that was what college was all about anyway. |
