WPI was an average experience for me. I met a lot of interesting people and learned quite a bit. However, the school seriously needs to do something about their career development center. They basically get paid to do nothing. I can safely say that the majority of students that graduate from the university feel the same way. The only help they give is a bunch of workshops. I mean come on the school costs $40,000 year. The least they can do is to do their job. As far as the academics are concerned many of the professors are very helpful and sincerely want to help you succeed. The project based curriculum is very innovative and one of the best in the nation. However, I regret ever attending the University. I wish I chose a different school. My life is literally in pieces right now. I graduated in May 2003 and I've been looking for a job a year and half. I'm $40,000 in debt and still live with my parents. So far the only work I can find is as a data entry clerk. I haven’t received a single phone call from the university asking me how things are going. The only thing they call me for is to make donations…go figure !!!
