Most, if not all, of the people I knew there 20+ years ago are happy, fufilled and when asked, will go out of their way to help a fellow Denidoo grad. I am sure the campus is different today without the frats being a significant part of campus life, but they were really out of control. I was back on campus a couple of years ago and literally ran into a former religion professor (it was dark and outside) that I had not seen in 20 years, we took one look at each other and instantly knew who each other was, and then talked for hours. I am glad to see that Denison uses its endowment to help offset tuition and provide merit scholarships. Many colleges of the same quality have larger endowments and don't spend a nickel on making education affordable. |
