As a young black engineer and a recent graduate, class of 2004, I am proud to say that I was able to acheive my dream through this program. Not only am I a sucessful Design System Engineer in hydraulics, but I work with and compete against engineers from so called elite schools such as Tennessee State University, Ohio State University and Kent State University. I have equal recognition and success in that arena. Although attendance is lacking, our heritage was fueled by black engineers, do the research and see. Thier numbers were low, but thoer impact was great. |
