Coming from out of state, not knowing anyone here was a difficult decision. Upon my first arrival to this campus, I absolutley fell in love with the beautiful campus, it is by far the prettiest campus in the SEC. Then, walking around on campus, it was like there was something in the air. Everyone was smiling, in a good mood, or said "hi" to you. The faculty here is always open to talk to or is always willing to help you. Weather here is perfect, you get a little bit of all the seasons. One thing that you need to know before attending is that although you may be foiled by the acceptance GPA and other concerning factors, be aware that the curriculumn here is very intensive and goes in depth. I had no problem getting in to UA with their requirements, however depending on your choice of study here do not expect the work here to be easy. The friends that I have made here i already know will last a lifetime, faculty, girlfriends, guyfriends, and sorority sisters all. Once starting here, you will feel like it is a home away from home and you have a whole new family here. Attending The University of Alabama has definatley been one of the better choices in my life, and I would never change or transfer schools. |
