You will get a superior education and constantly be impressed by your peers. There is so much personal attention here. When there is any kind of problem, administrators treat you like a person instead of a number. Professors really care that you are learning, and they are some of the most brilliant people and talented instructors I have ever come across. The campus is beautiful, and Columbus, a city with tons of students and a lot of colleges—is only 30 mins away. This place is extremely intense, and you should know that there is no such thing as slacking off and "getting by" here. You never knew you had to work so hard just to get a B, but you'll push yourself farther than you knew you could go and be damn proud when you're done. If your number one priority is getting an amazing education in a personalized and nurturing environment (of very liberal, often quirky students), then Ohio Wesleyan is the place for you.It was a safety school for me, but I cannot imagine having picked a more perfect school, or a school that would have provided me with so many opportunities. |
