SLO is a great place to live and a great place to go to school. The weather is usually pretty good and with access to the beaches, it makes going to school at Poly great. Our downtown area isn't huge but there are interesting shops and a good selection of restaurants in the area. If you're looking for a college town with a positive atmosphere, I highly recomend Cal Poly. Everyone around the central coast is friendly and with the size of the town, you feel like you're apart of the community.
