The great thing about going to Defiance was meeting some incredibly friendly, helpful people. The profs there really took time to get to know you and for the most part the student body was engaging. One of the great aspects of the school is that they place a great emphasis on service learning and character building. I found that these aspects allowed me to become very confident in my dealings with all kinds of people. Because the school spends so much time in the service learning area, it's not surprising that many graduates go on to teaching, social work, criminal justice, and any occupation that involves communications. I gained a lot of confidence there and DC prepared me quite well for my relationships with people.
