I'm an asian student, who had no idea how people can be so close-minded.

I must admit, people treats you very nice and friendly, as you would see in the movies or whatever.

But it's not just about the diversity, which is none.

I was surprised since I'm from LA maybe.

Whites with whites, blacks with blacks, and everybody else seem to be ignored.

There are few who's not like that.very rare though.

You'd go to a bar and all they'd play is country or one of those classic rock.

I have been to 4 different bars so far since I came here a few months ago.

I had seen few blacks, no asians.

Coincidence? I don't think so.

Plus, this small town has few things to offer that you can't really get away.

Besides, everybody is everybody's highschool classmate or a cousin or a relative.

I'm getting good grades so that I could get away from here as soon as possible.

Conservative, republican(you'll see the stickers everywhere), and not looking for meeting people?
