Statistical Analyzer:

My experience at Davidson so far has been fantastic. Davidson does a great job with roommates - my roommate from Freshman year is still one of my best friends. The Student Union is really, really nice and always bustling with students. The professors are terrific (one of the Spanish professors is a little nutty, but there isn't a single bad professor at the college) and accessible; it's not unheard of for students to have dinner with their professor and his or her spouse. The gym is really good, the 24-hour room at the library is always handy (if you're coming, be warned of a LOT of studying), and there is always coffee available. :-) Socially, there is nearly always activity down at The Court (where the fraternity houses and women's eating houses are located. Eating houses are Davidson's variation on sororities…kind of). The underclassmen dorms are mostly very nice - Belk was just renovated, and the rooms are terrific. Dormitory Row dorms are decent, but Irwin, Belk, and Akers aren't all that hot. The Senior Apartments are wonderful. The facilities are, in general, more than decent. The classrooms are mainly nice; Chambers has been renovated, and the music building is quite nice.
