Statistical Analyzer:

Came here for portoflio day for art and though the program was small, it was promising. I also recieved plenty of $ which sealed the deal for me. Problem is while Stetson is a great school, it is very different from when you visit. People can be friendly but nowhere what you expect form the over-eager tour guides or people assisting visits. Also, a lot of people enter from an easy s hool, having earned all As but when they come here fall apart. Be ready to read and read and read and read. It's more than challenging. If you are a highly motivqated student that can push themselves Stetson is fantastic for you. But if you are intelligent and intellectual but have a lazy streak or procrastinate you just won't make it. Just because you took APs in high school and cruised through on your brain doesn't mean you'll be able to do it here. Great education, business, music deparments… art is only worth your time if you are highly motivated and know what you want to do and like personal attention it is great. but don't expect to make money with a BA in Art.
