The school was fine, super easy, but fine. If you want a challenging course load don't go to Fort Lewis all of classes (and most of them were honors courses)I either slept through or didn't attend most of the time and I still came out with a 3.8 GPA. Durango is a great place to visit, but I hated living there. Everything closses by 9 except bars and Walmart. I suppose my social life would have been better had I been able to pull of a fake id or have been 21. The students and the staff are super friendly. If your outdoorsy its a wonderful campus. Everyone runs arround with their nalgene bottles. They all ski/board, rockclimb, hike, play lacrose, etc. The football team sucks. If your native they have a tuition waver (you don't have to play a dime to go to school) because it was once a BIA boarding school, that is a huge plus. |
