I think my degree from Carleton really helped me get into law school (BU). Also, I am very happy at this law school and I chose it in part because I had such a good experience at Carleton and both schools have great, student-centered faculty. Carleton was a great growing experience for me. The only negative is the location in a small town. If you really feel you must live in a city, you will probably not be happy at Carleton.

For HS students looking into colleges, choose one which suits your personality. And, more importantly, if you don't enjoy the school you do choose, first try to change your perspectiive and attitude, but if that doesn;t help, transfer. There is no reason to be unhappy for years of your life.
