For me, it was close to home and was much more affordable than the private schools I looked into. Plus, I am able to complete my general education requirements for a lower cost so that I can afford the four year university I'm hoping to attend to complete my bachelor's degree. The academic quality is okay… the teachers are, for the most part, enthusiastic and informed, and the material is very straightforward. Overall, century is not an academic challenge - it's more of a place to find yourself and to explore your interests. For intellectual stimulation, look to a four year college or university. |
