Granted you are not exactly going to love the winters in old Laramie, nor is the nightlife anything to write home about. But it was a good, safe, fun, decent place to go to college, with good activities, a pleasant faculty that for the most part, will remember your name, (barring the drunken professors, but those are few and far between). I thought that I got a pretty damn good education if I do say so myself and if you but some work, energy and invest some time into your education at UW you could get a lot out of it. And if you have the opportunity spent the summer in Laramie, the Summer's there are probably the most gorgeous of anywhere I have ever been, with mountain trails and skiing just minutes away. Good luck in your decision, Go Pokes! |
