Concordia was a wonderful time for me. The professors were often personal friends, and it was the sort of place where everyone knew you and you were free to participate in almost anything. It is a nominally Christian college which offers a non-pushy religious atmosphere. If I can offer some negative comments, the university is not well run. The college is famous for nepotism and is bloated with middle management, resulting in overpriced tuition and a lack of classroom space—the campus is literally being taken over by offices and many classes are held in outdoor trailers. Barring these annoyances, it is still a very comfortable place to learn and make friends. |
