The teachers are amazing and TRULY care about their students, often times I (along with classmates) was even invited to dinners/bbqs and my professors homes. Our athletic teams are slowly but surely gaining the national recognition they diserve. Also, the school is small enough to find great friends, but large enough to learn from people of various backgrounds. There is little to no pressure to join any particular group or organizations, although most students do participate in something. The student housing cannot be beat! I have worked at other universities and trust me… Camden Miramar is better than pretty much anywhere. The main gripe students have is that the cost of hosing is a little hight, but it is worth it. As a graduate the only other problem I have encountered is that often people don't know about TAMUCC, they are unaware of how good the academics are and so they decide that the school must not be that great. It is up to our current students and our recruiters to build the reputation of TAMUCC as it is definitely an amazing insitiution of higher learning. I would highly reccomment this school to students. |
