I actually got an internship in my major my first semester here! The dorms/apartments are well maintained and all renovated. And, the food is much better than that of other schools that I have friends who go to in the surrounding area. It is by far one of the best schools in the region. We have an outstanding pre law program with high acceptance rates into law schools across the country…people actually go to Harvard and such after graduating! The only downfall to the school is that it is not in the best of neighborhoods, but Buffalo is in the midst of redeveloping downtown and improving the surrounding area. But not to worry, safety is not a concern because we have our own security systems in the apartments and 24 hour campus security. And while the college is Catholic affiliated there are a large amount of non-Catholics that attend the school. Another awesome thing about Canisius is that there is a Rome campus in Rome, Italy(!) as well as several other study abroad programs. I have applied to many schools throughout the country and am quite happy with my decision to attend Canisius for my undergraduate degree. |
