During the time-frame in which I was a student, there was no real job placement help available for someone with a Mass Communications major, such as myself. Help was given to a "chosen few"; it seemed as though if you had the "right connections", you would be able to attain decent employment. In addition, my school advisors did a poor job of advising me. During my tenure at the school, I noticed that the school had a reputation for being a "party school". I saw many things that should never happen. If I had to do it all over again, I think I would have saved myself alot of time and gone to a trade school and learned a trade that would have allowed me to earn more money in the long run—especially considering the college loans one has to pay back.
