I always had difficulty in school, and never thought that i would be able to go to college, but i found Beacon through a friend and decided to attend. I was unsure at first, because being from the city, I didnt know how it would be in a small town, but i figured that I needed to focus on my academics then my social life. I just graduated Saturday Magnum Cum Laude and will be setting up a job with a marketing company. Without the help and support that Beacon College gave to me, i would probably be working at a fast food place. Beacon is the only 4 year accredited college that deals with kids that have learning disabilities, and we are like any other college, those who make it will go big, and that is because Beacon has taught all of us to never give up that there will always be obstacles in our way, but you might have to find other ways around to get to the finish line. Graduating last Saturday was the biggest thrill, because I never thought that I would of made it. |
