Even though the student body is extremely smart, those who don't become hard workers usually fail out. I was a Resident Assistant in the Residence Hall, and saw quite a few residents (including roommates) who flunked out. Every semester I would have sit-downs with stressed-out freshmen taking DLD or even just Physics. My junior & senior year I perfected the 36 hour day (with 12 hours of sleep in between.) But through it all, Cooper trains you how to think, and builds you into a highly intelligent, motivated person. I'm not directly involved with engineering now, but I still find my Cooper education invaluable. |
