Statistical Analyzer:

Run, run, as fast as you can from the Nursing program at Columbia State. The 2nd semester instructors do not know how to teach and therefore they don't (lectures that are supposed to be 2 1/2 hrs typically are 30 minutes, then you're told to go home, read 200 pages by the next class, and "know it all"). Instructors are inacessible (no posted office hours…I was told to send an email with my question). My instructors for nursing pre-reqs in the science and psychology departments were outstanding: knowledgable, knew how to teach, cared that their students were learning. The opposite can be said of the nursing II instructors. Don't waste your time here if you want to be a skilled RN.
