Statistical Analyzer:

Ridiculously overpriced. I spent 2 semesters at AIP in the game art and design department last year, and really didn't like it much at all. The dorms aren't like regular university dorms, no open doors or anything like that, so even though I lived in Allegheney I still didn't really make any friends when I was there. Housing was ridiculously expensive, and there were always bums out in the middle of allegheney square trying to bum a buck or a cig off you every time you walked by. The faculty was generally quite friendly, but as someone else said, the Math and English classes were a joke. My math class actually had a test every other week, but we were allowed to use our books and notes on every test. One good thing about the place is you always know who to go to talk to if you have a problem with anything. I kind of miss that now that I go to a huge university. If you live in Pittsburgh already you might like it, but if you're moving there for a fresh start, my advice is forget it. I transfered to a regular university and haven't looked back once, I love it so much more. Its a quarter of the price, everyone is very sociable, and its just so much better.
