Typical bullpoop that I would rather not waste time on. Save youself. Another thing to remember here is that housing is severly overpriced both in the apartments and in the residence halls. Try having a roomate and paying $605 a month. For that one apartment, Camdon Miramar is making $1210. ABout the Mathematics program: Find another major and quickly. Avoid professors with a last name that starts with a G. Very difficult. Over half of the Calculus 1 class dropped and it was not because they were dumb, it was because the professor wanted people to prove history of mathematics that has taken centuries to compile. Calc II better, but avoid professors who do not follow the book. Labs attached to the math classes are a living nighmare. Grades are very nitpicky. There is only one right way to solve a problem here, and in math, there are usually many different ways to solve a problem. Creative thinking is not recognized enough at this university.ADVICE: Take lots of CLEP exams and avoid the core cirriculum. Some advisors are nice, others are demading. Stand up for yourself and don't get pushed around because they are trying to cover their butts. This is your education. Do whats right for you. P.S. The beach is nice but the thing you can't see in pictures is the smell of rotten fish. I am not kidding. |
