First off, the school offers little by way of courses. Many times, classes that a student needs in order to graduate are only taught once a calendar year. Also, there are no online classes whatsoever. Forget about distance education. The school is suffering through an enrollment drop and this has created a web of problems. This is a smart place to start for students seeking an AA degree before transferring to a university. As for the positive aspects that the school has to offer, there are some to be had. AMC has smaller class sizes that allow for more student-teacher contact. The classes are easier, and more laid back. Also, the school is nestled in the heart of the city, which is great for those that love the night life. |
