If you are expected to have your hand held all the way through, this is definately not the school for you. However, if you are willing to work with the system, which is not a bad thing, you will have a wonderful time. The professors are told upon starting here that Temple Students are a different kind than at most colleges. One of the founding principles of Temple was to educate those who work. Today this is still true. Most profs are more than willing to work with the students, and for the most part they keep the reading to as little as possible that allows the student to learn. Yes the social life is not the best, but if you know where to look you can find some GREAT affordable apartments in the city. And those who complain about the rent prices, break the dorm costs down per month. It is more than getting an apartment. I am so glad that i came to Temple, and I seriously will push my children to think about it too, |
