Hanover College is a wonderful school! Yes, it is a liberal arts school, and you do have to take a lot of random classes that may or may not help out your major. Yet, in the long run, these random classes will help you to develop skills that you will use in other classes and in the real world. HC is situated in a very small town and there aren't very many things to do at night and on the weekends. There is always something going on at the frats, so that is where most people hang out. Yea, they are strict about alcohol, but what school isnt? If you are at a party and security comes in, then all you have to do is go into a room and close the door. You can only get in trouble if you are in the halls. Some of the sports aren't that great, mainly because it is a Division III, which doesn't give out sports scholarships. Yet, there are always talented and willing people to play and help you become a better athlete. The professors are here to help you reach your goals. Some are a little weird and crazy, but most are more reserved. They are always in their offices when they aren't teaching and you can always go to them for help in class or just in life. The Ohio River is basically our backyard and the scenery is beautiful! Clifty Falls State Park is probably 2 miles down the road with mini waterfalls and many walking trails. It's a great environment, and you are definately getting what you pay for.
