I am a Clinical laboratory science major here at ISU and I absolutely love it. The class sizes for my major are very small and the teachers know each and every student and honestly care that we understand the material instead of just simply memorizing. The Gen eds are a pain to get through because of the sheer number of them, but you get through it. Social organizations are abundant and there are many things to get involved in though be careful about making sure that if you do get involved with an organization, your grades do not drop because of it. Students are generally friendly… though there is a large group of sorority girls and frat guys.. typical college students but sometimes they can get snooty and irritating. Most of the teachers I have had to deal with have been pleasant and helpful. Many majors, including my own have a mandatory internship or professional practice part to them that will really help for after graduation. Overall, great experience and I would recommend it to any potential student looking for the independence of a large university with a small university feel… |
