Pensacola Christian College provided me with the preparation that I needed to excell in the profession of nursing and in life. I have worked for a year and a half, and starting as a new grad, I heard all the time, "How long have you been a nurse? Wow, you seem really experienced." The Biblical emphasis of the nursing program (Jude 22) gave me a caring and compassion that most nurses lose within the first few months of working. I still frequently (almost daily) have patients and family members comment on the fact that I seem to care about them. The knowledge of nursing I possess also passes that of many of the nurses I work with—they frequently ask me questions about medications. PCC also provided me with a good preparation for life as living in the dorms I learned good interpersonal relationships. I am currently preparing to serve as a missionary, and I know the spiritual foundation I was provided will help me greatly as I share the good new of Christ in another country. Thank you, PCC, for the excellent Christian education you gave me.
