I won't lie; you will get an amazing education, meet a handful of amazing people/life-long friends, and you'll do both on a campus that resembles a country club. My review paints Middlebury in quite a good light becauase it doesn't ask about what is most important about a college: tradition, a social life independent from what the administration hands you on a silver platter, and an administration that is responsive to student sentiments. I am currently a junior, and most of my friends have seriously entertained the idea of transfering—the smart ones have. This school has SO much potential to be what it used to be, but it fails every step of the way. Also, don't come here unless they get rid of the common system over the next couple of years. |
