The Communication department at CSU is WONDERFUL. There are many choices for specialization, and opportunities to participate in (and conduct) research, even at the BA level. I loved every one of my Com professors. They were great people. Profs in other departments were hit or miss for me, but I was still able to make it through with a pretty impressive GPA. CSU is a great school for adult students (like I was), but I can imagine how it wouldn't be so much fun for kids who want to play at college. I didn't have any extra time to devote to extra-curricular activities, but saw that there were many available. The career services center was an excellent resource, helping me to get my foot in the door at my current place of employment, where I've happily been for the past 6 years. |
