Quite honestly, I chose USF because it was close to home; my personal opinion is - when looking at your 4-year degree - the school doesn't matter. Why do I say this? I knocked out the remainder of my Psychology degree at USF, then applied for grad schools across the nation after another year of doing research.I was accepted to all but one of the grad schools for which I applied. The one rejection? Yale. Anyone else reading this get into Yale? I didn't think so. Grad schools (and employers) don't CARE where you get your degree; the only one who should care about that is YOU!The funny part is, I decided to stay at USF for grad school! I had my choice of programs, yet opted to remain here. There were a lot of reasons, but primarily it was because of the location and my familiarity with the faculty. If you've read through these reviews from students, you'll see comments that are rosy, racist, or wretched. Before jumping to conclusions, you really must consider the source. When you hear people say "Bull Pride" or "Go Bulls" it is because they are proud of what they have worked so hard to become a part of. Those who don't have it didn't earn it.GO BULLS! |
