SMC was a great choice for me, because although I learned enough in class, it was what I learned outside of class that made me who I am today, and I don't think I would have gone down that path had it not been for the college. Learning about different people, you can do that at any university, but attending an all women's catholic college, when you're not catholic, you see and meet all different walks of life, literally. Is the campus safe? No. What campus is? You have creeps walking around in every city. At Saint Mary's, you have rich creeps who live across the street. It's 2007, you can't walk alone as a woman. That's why you call Security to escort you. Welcome to the real world. |
