Statistical Analyzer:

I have 2 degrees from ETSU, and now am working towards a masters degree at a different university. I would have chosen ETSU for my masters if they didn't have a couple of nursing instructors who have tenure, and seem to like making a class so difficult that most students fail. Unfortunately those were the only 2 teachers that were teaching that particular class, so if you want to graduate, you have to either take their class, and spend numerous hours studying useless detailed information, and hope that you pass, or take the course at another college and transfer the grades in. I guess most universities have staff that get a kick out of watching you sweat. Back in 1998, when i was there in the nursing program, there was a teacher who actually made the comment, "hmmm…there are 38 students now, i bet by the end of the semester, there will be less than 10" now that is sick. Not all teachers are that way. in the 200 credit hours that i have at ETSU, I would say I had 2 instructors that were impossible, and both were in the health science department. If you want to know what teachers to avoid, ask the advisors, and the students…they will tell you who is the most challenging.
