I think it's very important to do a lot of research before attending a school. When I got accepted into BU, I just accepted immediately bc #1, it sounded like the best school out of the colleges that accepted me and #2, I received a nice financial package. There are +'s and -'s to going to this school. First, most of the professors I've had (from CGS) are very good at what they do. They are nice and willing to spend one on one with students. I've had enlightening discussions with my professors and have learned soo much from them. Second is the social aspect. I personally was surprised at how many people change after being at BU for sometime. It's just the way our campus is. People just seem to be snottish and cliquey. If you have a good head on your shoulder, you'll be fine. But don't be surprised when you see a lot of people flaunting their money by what they wear or just simply, how they act. Most importantly, you learn so much about yourself and the values that are important to you. |
