Once I got past the worthless bitch secretary of the department, I was told that despite likely being able to teach the class better than the existing professors, that I would not be able to test out of the class, or any class really. They don't care about their student's actual education—we are just numbers to them. Further, they are moneygrubbing fucks in absolutely everything from books to forms to parking. For only $120 you can park nearly a mile away from campus. Better not park closer or you'll get a $30 parking ticket from the crack ticket squad. I wish those guys taught classes, they're alot more passionate than some of our professors. Anyway, I've been sitting in on an Advanced Operating Systems class this semester, a top tier grad class, while I still haven't taken Intro to C or any other CS classes, and I find myself largely bored. UNF CS is a joke, the faculty are pricks, parking is a nightmare, and you are a number. The student body is alright, some classes are nice, but in general: avoid. |
