Statistical Analyzer:

People say that GW is for students who couldn't get into Georgetown. This is true. Most of the student body are kids who did well in high school but aren't genius are, in many cases, intelligent. Most are upper-middle to upper-class and have a sense of entitlement, which was irritated when they were rejected from the college down the road. As a result, grade inflation is rampant in every department and no one takes their education seriously. Plus, there isn't a lot of school spirit and a lot of administration-ditching (our insanely high tuition went to buy things such as statues of birds made of curbstones rather than paying associate professors a decent salary). Politics are big, which means that our student government is made out to be WAY more important than it is (complete with corruption! every year there are articles in the school newspaper about how student association funds are used to buy the student representatives $1000-dinners at fancy restaurants rather than funding student organizations). All in all, its not worth it.
