Every college has positive points and negative points. I went through two others (Penn State and Rhode Island College) before getting to NEIT.

Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The computer labs were well stocked with applications related to my field of study. The instruction from experienced professionals and hands-on training definitely had more of an impact on me than theoretical classes you get at other colleges.

On to the negatives:

Housing: If you want to stay on campus, well you can't really.

Extracurricular: There are no athletics at NEIT, which I found unfortunate.

Social Life: You generally get into classes with the same people, so there is no real variety. I did end up with some great friends because of that, however.
