okay well I was actually going to go to a different university, but things got really complicated last minute with financial issues, and my parents made me go to this school because it was close to my home. This is one of the top JCs in the nation, and there's a high transfer rate if you go to this school. There are some good teachers here, but there are also some really bad ones too, like the ones I have right now.

So far, I expected to have a lot of work and to be busy all the time, but I haven't really experienced the difficulty just yet, but it could be because i've only gone through a couple terms.

There's no social life whatsoever, so screw starting over! It may not be so bad for some people but it is actually pretty difficult to approach others, especially if they are outside of your class/department.

Some teachers are not so good, they can be super biase, not too helpful, or pretty nice and willing to help you. Depends on what teachers you get and what departments you're in.

People have their own little cliques too, and there are a lot of international students. There's a high chance of you transferring into a really good UC or CSU, as long as you work hard for it. It'll definitely pay off here…

Oh yeah, this applies for all the community colleges usually, but the average amount spent here is about 3-3.5 years. if you want to transfer within 2 years, you better work your butt off.
