Statistical Analyzer:

Very cliquish environment. Most students seek out their own cultural group and stick to that. Not a social place—after class is done, everyone scurries out. You MUST join a club if you want to meet any friends. Some students simply ignore you outside of class for some reason (has happened to me several times, with different people).

As a working, evening student, I personally feel that the college is insensitive to the needs of students like myself (which is quite a high percentage here, this being a public college). Evening courses are rare for science departments, tutoring hours are impractical. Evening science/math courses tend to empty out by half (sometimes more) after exam 1. I am NOT saying college work is meant to be easy, I'm aware that it isn't—but the work load and expectations tells me that, with regards to working students, the faculty either A) does not understand the challenges faced by many part-time students, or B) they simply don't care. Lab TA's tend to be clueless, unhelpful or bitter (sometimes all three). (look at my rating for "faculty").

Classes also close way too early; it is crucial that you find an advisor for your major and pre-register every semester.

On a good note the education is of high quality. The college does have a good accounting department (based on what my Accounting major friends told me) and a decent program for prospective teachers.
