Appleton is extremely safe but it lacks in things to do sometimes. To go to a concert, for instance, I have to go to Chicago or Madison. However this is pretty easy to do by a car, bus or train. I like how everybody lives on campus and there is a strong sense of community. I also like the creative energy that is all around in the form of theater, art, music, weird clubs, and interesting conversations.
