When I attended a traditional college the instructors and school could care less if I showed or passed, here I actually have people who bother to ask what is going on and remind me about the consequences of missing class or doing badly. I have people to contact directly with questions that I have, there have been times when it was delayed, but still responded. My advice to others is that if you don't like how it works, then go and do what works. No other college worked to make me responsible for myself and others like UOP and I did have my share of challenging classes, but there were some easier ones - and any school would have that. All colleges are essentially the same in education, it's the execution and treatment that makes the difference. |
