The staff have always been helpful, and the teachers are always willing to converse with me when they are available. I am a returning adult to college, and I like the mix of ages in the students. It doesn't have the whole "student life" subculture that many traditional colleges have, so often times there aren't as many avenues to get to know students. ON the positive side, no one is on a "free ride" athletic scholarship, in other words the people that are there are there to take classes, not to play sports or to party for that matter. True it isn't a great college name for a diploma, but a great place to knock out those generals for cheap in a "Small School" atmosphere. I'd say the greatest asset has been the faculty, I've made some great friends with my instructors. |
