Students entering seem to have an excellent imagination, believing that this is a rockstar job; it is, only if you're good, real good. Expect to work, unless your high school was like climbing the kiddy rock face. If you considered high school a treadmill, look elsewhere, this school might see you to your end (patience and financially). You can do exceedingly well and be rewarded for it, but don't expect this to be a glamorous job like the olden days. (How many Aerospace Engineers do you know…, any coming to mind, well there are thousands in the field.) Seriously, if building planes/spacecraft is what you think will make you happy, this is the place for you. People routinely leave here at breaks waiting to come back, the town might suck and sometimes you might be board, but there is no place like Embry-Riddle. Go Eagles… |
