ATU is a great school. The faculty and staff treat you as an individual. It is clear that you are not just a number or a person to get money more from. All of the professors are required to hold office hours and they are in their office during those times 99.9% of the time. They only time they're not there is if they're gone to a conference (which they normally tell you ahead of time that they won't be there) or if they went to the copier. The professors are very willing to answer questions for students. The main thing that sticks out in my mind about the school is the individualism. I am so happy that I chose this school. I've received and excellent education and enjoyed the entire experience. My advice for being successful in college is to work hard now so that you are prepared and work on time management. College is challenging, but there's more free time which can be used to your advantage if you manage your time. Don't go and expect it to be one big party. Balance your time between schoolwork and extracirciular activities. There's plenty of time for it all if you manager your time. Also, apply early for everything so that you have a better chance of getting your choices (housing, classes, etc.) ATU is a great place to go to school. |
